It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Annette O. Guilbeault (Lariviere), 94, formally of 98 Rivulet Street, Woonsocket, RI, who passed away peacefully at The Friendly Home on Christmas Day with her daughters by her side.
Annette celebrated 53 years with her late husband Robert C. Guilbeault (The Colonel) until his passing in 2004. She missed him dearly. We take comfort knowing she is reunited with Robert and is at peace.
Annette was also a Breast Cancer survivor of more than 60 years. Annette continued to enjoy life to the fullest in everything she did, especially her hot air ballon ride with her grandson Nicholas in July of 2014 at the age of 83.
Born in Woonsocket February 5, 1931, she was the cherished daughter of the late Elphege and Diana (Poulin) Lariviere. She was also the sister of the late Leodore (Ted) Lariviere and Doris Mercure.
Annette is survived by her two daughters Susan D. Plante and her husband Keith, and Muriel C. Durand and her husband Jim, both of Woonsocket.
She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren, 2 late Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Annette worked at Fiberglass in Cumberland, RI, Tupperware in Blackstone, MA, New England Instrument in Woonsocket, RI, and after retiring worked in the deli for Li’l General in Woonsocket, RI.
Annette was heavily involved in the “Linus Project”, which is a sewing group formed by parishioners from church many years ago making blankets, quilts, and pillows for those in need.
Relative and Friends are invited to visitation hours on Monday, January 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave., Woonsocket, RI. Relatives & Friends are also invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Parish, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket, RI. Burial will follow immediately at St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery, 310 Wrentham Road, Bellingham, MA.
